WHS Students Explore Careers at Skilled Trades Expo

Twenty-five Woodridge High School students recently attended the Akron Canton Builds Skilled Trades Expo, where they gained a firsthand look at careers in construction and the skilled trades.Throughout the Expo, students participated in hands-on demonstrations, connected directly with local training centers and skilled trades professionals, and learned about the wide variety of career opportunities available within the industry.
The experience gave students a real-world look at potential career pathways, training and apprenticeship options, and the steps they can take after graduation to begin a successful career in the skilled trades.

Woodridge is proud to provide students with meaningful experiences like this one, allowing them to explore their interests, learn directly from industry professionals, and begin envisioning what their futures could look like.
