Canyon Brook Residents – Alternative Stop Location During Inclement Weather

This is a special message regarding the transportation plan for our Canyon Brook families during the winter months. We want to ensure that our buses can navigate safely and that all of our students can arrive at school on time.  On mornings with inclement weather, there is a possibility that it may be unsafe for the bus to travel down the hill. The alternative stop location will be located at the intersection of Canyon Parkway and Treetop Trail. If inclement weather happens, parents are welcome to accompany their students to the designated alternative stop. For safety, it’s important that parents stay with their students at the bus stop.

Pickup / Drop-off Change?

If your child needs to be picked up or dropped off at a different location WITHIN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, please fill out the Alternate Stop Request Form and email it to Linda Olayan at lolayan@woodridge.k12.oh.us.  Alternate bus stop requests must be submitted two weeks prior the start of each school year.  If an alternate stop is needed within the school year, please allow up to 24-48 hours for your request to be processed.

Two Hour Delay  / Bus Timing

When a two-hour delay within the school year arises, the school buses will pick-up students two (2) hours after their normal bus stop time.  For example, if your child normally gets pick up at 7:56 am, during a two hour delay, your child will get picked up at 9:56 am.  On a two hour delay day, dismissal time will remain the same, and bus drop-off time will be the normal time.
